Dark chocolate pistachio biscotti

Dark Chocolate Pistachio Biscotti

Serves: 10-12 
Ingredients:
  • 2 cups whole wheat flour
  • 1/2 tsp baking soda
  • 1/2 tsp baking powder
  • 1/4 tsp salt
  • 1 tsp cinnamon
  • 1/4 cup light brown sugar
  • 1/4 cup crushed pistachios
  • 1/2 cup crushed dark chocolate
  • 2 eggs
  • 1/3 cup milk
  • 1 tbsp honey
  • 1 tsp vanilla
(Milk not included in picture)

Directions:
  1. Preheat oven to 350 degrees.
  2. Line a baking sheet with parchment paper and a thin layer of coconut oil or spray oil.
  3. Mix dry ingredients together, except chocolate and pistachios.
  4. Mix wet ingredients together, except milk.
  5. Combine wet ingredients into dry, fold with hands, add the milk.
  6. Add the chocolate and pistachios even throughout the dough.
  7. Form dough into a loaf shape and place on sheet.
  8. Bake for 20-25 minutes, until middle is firm. Remove from oven. Let it cool for about 10 min.
  9. Reduce oven to 300 degrees. Slice the ball into 1 inch thick biscotti pieces and place flat on the baking sheet. Bake for 10 minutes on one side, than flip and bake the other side for 10 min.
  10. Let it cool than dip in a latte or coffee!
