California Turkey Burger
Serves: 4
Ingredients:
- 1 lb ground turkey
- 1/4 cup dried whole-wheat breadcrumbs
- salt and pepper to taste
- 1 egg
- 1 tsp onion powder
- 1 tsp garlic powder
- 1 tsp Italian seasoning
- 1 avocado
- 1/2 cup sundried tomatoes, sliced
- 1/4 cup crumbled goat cheese
- 2 cups spinach
- 4 whole wheat sandwich thins
Directions:
- Make the burger patties: combine turkey, breadcrumbs, salt, pepper, egg, onion powder, garlic powder, and Italian seasoning. Make 4 patties and grill for 5 minutes on each side, until cooked fully through.
- Toast the sandwich thin for a minute or two.
- Put the burger on the bun and top with avocado, sun-dried tomatoes, goat cheese, and spinach.
