California turkey burger

California Turkey Burger
Serves: 4
Ingredients:
  • 1 lb ground turkey
  • 1/4 cup dried whole-wheat breadcrumbs
  • salt and pepper to taste
  • 1 egg
  • 1 tsp onion powder
  • 1 tsp garlic powder
  • 1 tsp Italian seasoning
  • 1 avocado
  • 1/2 cup sundried tomatoes, sliced
  • 1/4 cup crumbled goat cheese 
  • 2 cups spinach
  • 4 whole wheat sandwich thins 
Directions:
  1. Make the burger patties: combine turkey, breadcrumbs, salt, pepper, egg, onion powder, garlic powder, and Italian seasoning. Make 4 patties and grill for 5 minutes on each side, until cooked fully through. 
  2. Toast the sandwich thin for a minute or two.
  3. Put the burger on the bun and top with avocado, sun-dried tomatoes, goat cheese, and spinach.
  4. Enjoy!
